GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Wedding chapels in Gatlinburg held free weddings on Monday for veterans who wanted to say I do.
Chapel at the Park, Cupid's Chapel of Love and an Outdoor Wedding at the Park all held weddings for the couples.
"Most of the people coming today have some type of battle scar. The couple we just married are both ex-navy," said Lee Bennett, Minister at Chapel at the Park. "We've got couples today from Kansas to Sevierville."
The free wedding package includes up to 25 guests, an ordained minister, photographer and videographer.
