PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Several restaurants plan on serving free meals to veterans in honor of Veteran's Day, including some in Sevier County.
The Golden Corral restaurants across the country plan on giving away meals to veterans from 4-9pm on Monday, November 12, 2013. Restaurants in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville will participate in the program.
"We wanted to give back, just because the veterans have given so much for us and they sacrificed so much for our country, so this is just kind of our way to give back to them," said Associate Manager Savannah Davis. "It's a fun time we're going to have music and everything."
Managers say just tell the cashier that you're a veteran to get your free meal . They plan on having live patriotic music to entertain guests over their meal.
