KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Another promotion at the Tennessee Valley Fair benefited an important philanthropic organization in Knoxville.
One dollar from every all-you-can-ride wrist band that was sold went to the Love Kitchen.
The organization helps feed the homeless and unemployed across the area, and fair organizers are excited to help out.
"Saturdays and Sundays are a very busy day for us, lots of folks come out. So that's just an excellent opportunity for us to have the promotion and raise some much-needed funds for them," said Sarah Thompson with the Tennessee Valley Fair.
Last year, the promotion raised $3,400 for the Love Kitchen.
