SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Sevierville Police say they've arrested a Gatlinburg man and charged him for the rape of a child.
According to Bob Stahlke, Public Information Office for the City of Sevierville, Robert Thomas Bradford, 35, of Gatlinburg, was arrested this weekend.
According to arrest warrant, a 4 year old victim said in a statement that Bradford did sexually penetrate the minor. He was arrested on December 13th for the crime. The warrant says the incident happened on October 11 of this year.
According to the Sevier County Jail, Bradford is being held in lieu of $500,000 for rape of a child.
Sevierville Police say in order to protect the victim's identity they won't release any more information.
Bradford listed Ober Gatlinburg as his employer.
