KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Hundreds came out to the Knoxville Zoo on Saturday to help raise money for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
More than $70,000 was raised to benefit the hospital that specializes in childhood cancer.
Many patient families, like Mandy and Jeff Moody, were there with their daughter Lela, who was diagnosed with cancer.
"It's nice to see so many people in Knoxville love St. Jude because it's far away. Six hours is a big difference, so to see this many people to have the love we have for it is just amazing," said Mandy Moody.
Lela has been able to get treatment at St. Jude.
