Hawkins Co. woman accused of shooting at SUV full of kids

A Hawkins County woman has been charged with felony reckless endangerment after sheriff's deputies say she fired shots at an SUV full of children on Sunday.

Deputies say Oscar Scott was trying trying to turn around in 72-year old Margie Ramey's driveway off Bays Mountain Road.

But Scott says when he pulled in, he saw Ramey come out of her home with a rifle and shot twice.

Authorities say Ramey shot because she had a continuous problem with people tearing up her driveway.

Scott told police one bullet hit his SUV's running board.
