ROCKWOOD, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A midday wreck on westbound I-40 shut down the Interstate near mile marker 333 for several hours on Thursday. With the road closed heading west, rubberneckers were delaying eastbound traffic, according to TDOT.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 11:00 a.m. after a Chevrolet Impala went under a tractor-trailer. Hazardous Material crews responded to the scene shortly thereafter.
No one was reportedly injured in the collision.
