KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Employers are looking to hire veterans, active duty military and their spouses.
Several employers like AT&T, Autozone, Regions Bank, and Walmart talked with potential employees at a job fair Tuesday at the Knoxville Expo Center.
Ernie Lombardi with the U.S. Chamber Of Commerce says, "Across the nation we've seen over 20 thousand plus veterans go back to work. We've got over 12 hundred employers nation wide who have come on board with our campaign to help us put these veterans back to work, and it is working."
An employment workshop was also offered with tips on resume writing and interviewing.
