Holiday pet pictures help out Young-Williams Animal Center

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- It's a sign that Christmas isn't too far off...Young-Williams Animal Center's annual "Pet Pictures with Santa Paws."

Each year pet parents get a chance to make holiday memories by having their pet's picture taken with Santa.

It's a fun but sometimes tricky way to help Young-Williams help our area pet population. Santa and the volunteers work hard to get some of the animals to sit still and be calm while snapping that perfect pic.

And it's not just for cats and dogs, one woman brought her ferrets.

The event was held this weekend at Agri Feed Pet Supply.

There are two more chances to get pictures taken. On December 1st and 2nd at the Young-Williams Animal Village, at 6400 Kingston Pike, in West Knoxville. Pictures will be taken between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
