Horse found dead, another starving in Anderson County

ANDERSON CO. (WVLT)-- Police in Oliver Springs say they found two horses, one dead, another one living but in poor conditions.

It happened at a home in Anderson County.

Not much information is being released but, investigators tell Local 8 News they are waiting on test results to see if any charges will be filed.

In the meantime, the owner has surrendered the surviving horse to Horse Haven of Tennessee.

Pictures from the scene (some are too graphic to share) show both horses is very poor condition.
