Truck's food cargo salvaged in I-40 wreck

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The James White Parkway on-ramp at I-40 westbound is being blocked by an overturned semi-truck.

It happened around 10:25 a.m. on Sunday.

Both the Second Harvest Food Bank and Salvation Army will salvage the different types of meat in the truck as a donation.

The wreck should be cleared by 3 p.m.

According to Rural Metro, no one was injured.
