KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- With Earth Day right around the corner, there's plenty to celebrate at Ijams Nature Center.
Each Saturday offers something different for everyone, including three animal shows featuring a wide variety of furry and feathered creatures.
Senior naturalist Stephen Lyn Bales says the center sits on more than 300 acres and has 40 miles of hiking trails.
"We try to target programs for different age groups, gardening programs typically for the older adults, today there's a couple of birthday parties inside for kids, we typically do this time of year a wildflower walk which is really for a mixed group."
