KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A quick getaway is going to make life for one Knox County inmate a little tougher for himself.
After ditching a work detail yesterday, police found James Anderson hours later at the Red Roof Inn on Papermill Road.
Police say Anderson walked away from the Boys and Girls Club on Carrick Street.
Anderson was originally in jail for violating his parole. But now he's also charged with escape with a bond of $8,000.
