KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville police identify a man found in north Knoxville last Tuesday.
Rodney Trigg's body was found in a field just off Dale Avenue. Police say his cause of death was determined to be medical related. The 45-year-old homeless man was originally from Texas but has lived in Knoxville for several years.
The Knoxville Police Dept. is still trying to confirm the identity of a man whose body was found in a field in north Knoxville Tuesday evening.
Officers found the body shortly after 5:00 p.m. near the intersection of Dale Ave. and Cowen Road. Investigators said there was no sign of foul play.
A police spokesperson said they will identify the body once the identiy has been confirmed and the family has been notified.
