Jason Day leads after two rounds at the Masters

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) -- Jason Day's birdie on the par-3 16h hole gives him a one shot lead after two rounds at the Masters. The Australian shot a day's bet 4-under 68 playing in the final group of the day to get to 6-under par. Day finished second in the 2011 Masters holding onto second place for the final three rounds.

Fifty-three year old Fred Couples continues to impress at Augusta National, shooting a 1-under 71 and that ties him for second with Aussie Marc Leishman.

Tiger Woods is in a group two shots back after a 71. He caught a bad break on the par-5 15th, when his approach hit the flagstick and deflected into the water. He had two bogeys in the last four holes.

Angel (AHN'-hehl) Cabrera who surged to a 3-under 69 with birdies on five of the last six holes and is in a group with Woods, as are Jim Furyk and Brandt Snedeker.

Chinese teenager Guan Tianlang (gwahn tee-ehn-LAHNG') was assessed a one-stroke penalty for slow play giving him a 3-over 75. But the 14-year old, who is the youngest to play at the Master made the cut and will play on the weekend.
