Former Tennessee football Head Coach Johnny Majors is recovering from a heart valve procedure performed at UT Medical Center.
Doctors say it went well, but would not say when the 78-year-old would be released from the hospital.
Current head coach Butch Jones took a moment after Friday's practice to wish his Majors well.
"Our thoughts are with Coach Majors. Heard his procedure went exceptionally well today. Our thoughts are with him today," Coach Jones told a room full of reporters.
Majors' family says they'll send updates after the weekend.
