KCHD spraying for mosquitoes in Gulf Park, along 4th St.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knox Co. Health Dept. will spray for mosquitoes in Gulf Park and along 4th Street near I-275 on Thursday, the agency said. The spraying will begin at 9:00 p.m. and continue through midnight, weather permitting.

Signs will be posted in the affected area. While they are spraying, KCHD is asking everyone to stay inside and to keep their pets inside or in their backyard.

The KCHD is spraying those areas after mosquitoes tested positive for West Nile Virus.
