KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - **Update**
The Knoxville Police Department found a man's body under the deck of a West Knoxville home and they are having trouble figuring out who he was.
What they do know is the man had a medical condition that may have led to his death. No foul play is suspected. He had no id on him, so officers have been checking missing person's reports and with agencies across the country. The man had a lot of dental work done and are hoping the medical examiner can help identify him.
Officers responded to the home at 702 Forest View Road around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a bad smell coming from under the back deck. That's when they found the body.
The man's body was 15-20 feet from the end of the back deck. KPD says the white male was clothed, but had no identification. Investigators estimate the body had been under the deck for at least seven days.
