KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Kenny Bartley has been sentenced today to a total of 8 years for shooting Ken Bruce at Campbell County High School in 2005.

That's the equivalent of time already served.

Bartley was sentenced to three years for reckless homicide, three years for possession of a gun on school property and two years for drug charges.

In an emotional hearing, victims told the judge that losing Ken Bruce left "a huge hole."

Defense attorney Greg Isaacs told the judge Bartley was sorry for what happened and had served his time.
