'Kids Kloset' making sure every student has back-to-school supplies

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Even with no sales tax this weekend, some parents still find it difficult to get their kids ready for the first day of school.

Faith United Methodist Church opened their "Kids Kloset" for the first time Saturday.

The kids got a chance to pick out two outfits, coats, shoes, toothbrushes, and backpacks.

"We certainly want every child who's going back to school to feel very please about the clothing he or she wears and be prepared with the appropriate school supplies," says Rev. Barbara Clark.

The "Kids Kloset" will be open the first Wednesday and third Saturday of every month.

You can also drop off donations at any time.
