Kindergarten teacher, husband killed in possible murder-suicide

PINEVILLE, Kent. (WVLT) -- A Bell County, KY community is in shock following an apparent murder-suicide of kindergarten teacher and her husband.

Police say Anthony Mace shot his wife, Lisa Mace, and then shot himself, killing both.

Lisa was a kindergarten teacher at Lone Jack Elementary School in Pineville, and students were dismissed early due to her death.

Kevin Wilder, Lone Jack Principal, said, " Tears were shed up and down the halls. She touched a lot of lives here. Her students loved her. They really respected her and she was just a super person and a wonderful teacher."

The couple's two children are currently with other family members.
