KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Fountain City Wrecker Service driver is sitting behind bars accused of sexual battery.
James Thomas Mullins towed a woman's car from Kingston Pike at Cherokee Boulevard to Henson's Automotive on N. Broadway during the afternoon on August 9.
According to court documents, he asked the victim if she "wanted to work it out in trade" several times when they got to the body shop. The woman refused.
As the women wrote him a check, Mullins allegedly slid his hand down her shirt. When she got out of the wrecker, he's accused of patting her on the buttocks.
The victim and a witness identified Mullins in a photo line-up. A copy of the Fountain City Wrecker Service log verified Mullins towed the woman's car.
