UPDATE: Crimetracker: Victims identified in Knoxville drive-by, boy hurt too

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- A late night drive by shooting in south Knoxville sent two Knoxville men to the hospital with minor injuries from gunshot wounds Sunday night, according to the Knoxville Police Dept. The victims were identified as Jared Riddle, 25 and Tiberius Norries, 20. Authorities are still searching for the shooter.

They were shot in the 4300 block of Joe Lewis Road shortly after 10:00 p.m. Police said a silver or white 4 door sedan drove by and fired several rounds. It was last seen turning onto Maryville Pike.

Witnesses were unable to provide a description of the shooters.

A boy who was looking out his window at the time of the shooting was also injured when he struck his mouth on the window sill while trying to duck. He was taken to the hospital.

Police also noted that at the time of the shooting, an unrelated single vehicle accident at the corner of Joe Lewis Rd. and Cook Drive caused a power outage.
