Knoxville Police looking for gunman in Tuesday night shooting

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knoxville Police Department is looking for the person who shot a man Tuesday night.

Officers found the man a little after 9:00p.m. in the 4200 block of Skyline Drive.

He had been shot in the leg and was taken to UT Medical Center. He is expected to recover.

Police believe several witnesses left the scene before officers arrived.
