KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Knoxville Police are searching for a man involved in a stabbing Friday night.
It happened at Inn Towne Suites on Gallaher View Rd just after 10:30 p.m.
According to police, the victim, Wesley Stanley, was stabbed by a man described to be wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
A man who fit the description was stopped while leaving the parking lot, but he wasn't the suspect, police said.
Stanley had to undergo surgery at UT Medical Center, but his injuries are listed as non-life threatening.
