KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Tina Wesson, who won the 2nd season of the CBS show Survivor, is back for the 27th season and this time with her daughter.
The CBS show will premiere on Wednesday night and Wesson believes the new twists will make for some good television.
"There's just so many things that come into play. It's a very rough season a very hard season, I think the viewers are really going to love this new twist," said Wesson. "Participating at 52 as opposed to 40 I was surprised by physically how much more demanding it was for me this time. That really took me by surprise."
This year Wesson brought her daughter and she says the emotional level that the twist brings to the show will keep everyone watching.
"Little did we know, we thought we'd be playing with our loved ones. Come to find out we're playing against our loved ones. so that's definitely hard," said Wesson. "I'm so excited to be back on the show and represent Knoxville and be on the show with my daughter."
Survivor premieres at 8pm Wednesday on CBS.
