GALLATIN, Tenn. (AP) -- Gallatin police are asking for the public's help in trying to find the killer of a man whose body was discovered in a Sumner County driveway.
According to WTVF-TV, investigators have identified the body to be that of 26-year-old Carl Bost.
Resident Jessie Carter told police he discovered the body Saturday morning when he was leaving to run errands.
"I just thought it was somebody (who) got drunk or something," Carter said. "Didn't have nothing in my mind that the boy was dead, so I hollered at him. I thought he was still alive."
Officials say Bost died from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators believe the shooting occurred somewhere else and that Bost was somehow able to make his way onto Carter's property late Friday night.
Police say Bost was originally from Knoxville and was staying with family in Gallatin.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Gallatin Police Department at 615-452-1313.
