KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(WV LT)-- Born this morning at Fort Sanders Medical Center at 11 minutes after 11 on the 11th month, 11th day and 20-11. Little, Brody James Raymer entered into a world of.... cameras.
Mom and Dad and Brody had no idea they'd be caught up in such a sea of numbers.
Brody's mom Jennifer Raymer says, "It was planned as of yesterday afternoon, let's have it tomorrow and that was it."
To top it off they were wheeled into, you guessed it, room 11.
All planned you say?... Not even close.
Jennifer said, "When someone mentioned maybe he'll be born on 11:11, we both chuckled and said no way. I didn't realize it was 11-11 when he was born until my sweet nurse told me."
Dad, Jamie said, "It could have been today, yesterday, tomorrow, and it wouldn't have mattered, we're just glad he's here and healthy. His time just happened to be at a unique hour, and minute... and room, and day."
Born on the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year, at the 11th hour and 11th minute in room 11, was there anything to add to that?
"What did you say about Coach (Derek) Dooley?"
"Just make sure he keeps that number 11 jersey for this one in about 18 years," Jamie replied.
In a sport that has 11 men on each side.
