Knoxville woman arrested for shooting up Kodak home

KODAK, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Knoxville woman was arrested for shooting into a Kodak home on Thursday, according to the Sevier Co. Sheriff's Office. When officers got there, they found 41 year-old Kathryn Bolden standing on the front porch of the home on Douglas Dam Road. She allegedly threatened to shoot the officers if they tried to approach her.

According to Sevier Co. Sheriff Ron Seals, investigators determined Bolden was involved in an ongoing dispute with homeowner and went to her house following several phone calls, during which Bolden threatened come to her house to confront her. Seals said they are continuing to investigate the incident.

Bolden was charges with Attempted 1st Degree Murder.

Seals said no one was injured in the confrontation, adding that Bolden was taken to Leconte Medical Center for evaluation. She was then taken to Sevier Co. Jail where she is being held on $750,000 bond.

Her preliminary hearing is set for June 13th.
