LaFOLLETTE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A LaFollette man was arrested on manslaughter charges a day after he allegedly stabbed to death a man more than twice his age during an argument Friday evening, according to the Campbell Co. Sheriff's Office.
Authorities believe alcohol may have contributed to the fight between 26 year-old Jonathan Sexton and the victim, Rocky Lane Gibson.
The 53 year-old Gibson was found along S. Highway 25W just outside of LaFollette around 6:30 p.m. on Friday. He was flown via LifeStar to UT Medical Center where he later died.
Following an investigation, Sexton was arrested late Saturday night and charged with voluntary manslaughter.
