Lawsuit filed for Grainger Co. girl beaten at school

GRAINGER COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Grainger County woman has filed a lawsuit over the beating of a 16-year old girl at a school last year.

The girl's legal guardian says four Washburn students bashed the girl's head against a pole and punched her in the face.

She says the attack lasted nearly five minutes before teachers intervened.

The suit is for millions in damages.
