Leadership Knoxville graduates new class

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A special ceremony was held Friday for a group of people, already leaders in their field.

They became the newest graduates of Leadership Knoxville.

47 people who have spent the last ten months developing community projects and partnering with non-profits, graduated from the program.

Leadership Knoxville brings talented and influential leaders together to work for one common goal, helping Knoxville grow.

"Everyone brings their gifts, and we all have professions, I'm a priest, we have doctors we have lawyers we have business people, but it is not so much what your title is, but the visions and the gifts that you bring and the hopes that you have for our community," Father David Boettner explained.

And among the graduates, WVLT-TV President and General Manager Chris Baker.
