KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Dollywood is opening its gates tonight to give runners and walkers a unique holiday experience.
It's the "Light the Way 5K." the course winds in and around the 150-acre theme park's Smoky Mountain Christmas festival which features 4 million lights.
Registration runs from 9:30 to 10:30 Friday night and the race starts at 11 p.m.
Everything kicks off from the front gates at Dollywood.
The Light the Way 5K benefits Share It Forward, a non-profit charity established for the purpose of raising funds to help The Dollywood Company Hosts and their immediate families in times of need.
