Local farm fights rising costs

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) When you turn the grill on this summer get ready to dig deeper into your wallet
Beef prices at near record highs.

You can blame the price on droughts causing mid west grains to skyrocket.

But one local farm says they aren't effected at all.

Century Harvest in Greenback is a sustainable local farm.

Check this out, they partnered with Saw Works Brewery.

All the barley the brewery doesn't use gets sent to the farm, the farm feeds the cows, the cows get turned into burgers and those burgers are sold back at Saw Works.
