Lost Sheep Ministry hosts Christmas dinner for homeless

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Lost Sheep Ministry helped feed the homeless in Knoxville as they do every Wednesday, but the event had a holiday feel on this night.

The ministry served a traditional Christmas meal. And there were gifts like hats and gloves to keep people warm.

There was also a little Christmas music to keep with the holiday theme.

Organizers say put it all together and it was a good time for everyone.

"Man we just have a blast, a fun time, lots of music. Joe Bryant brings his barbecue so we have a fun time tonight," said Ross Jones, director of operations.

The ministry has helped feed the homeless in Knoxville every single Wednesday night for the last 25 years.
