SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Hundreds of people gathered in Sevierville to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior on Monday.

Marchers started at Sevierville First Baptist Church at 10:30 and went to the Sevier County Courthouse Square. They chanted, "MLK, It's your day," as they marched down the street carrying signs from young to old, black and white.

The people then gathered for a service at the church where Tennessee Supreme Court Chief Justice Gary Wade was the guest speaker.
