GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Gatlinburg Police have arrested a man after employees of a restaurant say they heard loud banging in the bathroom.
Arrest warrants show employees of Johnny Rockets in Gatlinburg called police after they heard a large commotion in the bathroom, pounding on the wall, a child crying. The warrant says officers found a child that came out of the bathroom with a very red face and bruising.
The child says the man started kicking him and police say they found a fresh red mark that was similar to a shoe impression near the child's groin area.
Gatlinburg police arrested Leon Paul Woody and charged him with Child Abuse. He was given a $10,000 bond at the Sevier County Jail.
