SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Blount County Sheriff says Neil Kallaway, 31, is in critical condition at Vanderbilt Burn Center after an accident.
Kallaway was driving east on I.C. King Road in a 1987 Dodge Dakota when he ran off the left side of the roadway, hit a small tree, then bounced off the tree and crashed into a rock.
Deputies say Kallaway was found walking about a half mile from the accident.
He is suffering from severe burns on his body.
It happened on I.C. King Road in Seymour, a little after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Seymour Volunteer Fire Department responded. Blount County Sheriff's Office was also called in for assistance.
Dispatch said that this vehicle was the only one part of the incident.
The victim's name has not been released, and his condition is currently unknown.
