Man killed, woman hurt in Harlan County, Ky crash

ROSSPOINT, Ky. (WVLT) -- A man died in a wreck with a dump truck in Harlan County around 6:00 a.m. Friday on U.S. 119.

Kentucky State Police say 60-year-old William Caldwell, of Beldsoe, was driving north in his dump truck.

Troopers say 40-year-old Tracey Rapier, of Evarts, crashed her car into the back of the dump truck.

Rapier's passenger, 41-year-old Donald Tarbell, of Coxton, died at the scene.

Rapier was taken to Harlan County ARH for her injuries.

Troopers say neither Rapier nor Tarbell were wearing their seatbelts.
