LONDON, Ky. (AP) -- A Barbourville man is under arrest after a high-speed chase that began in Tennessee and didn't end until Whitley County deputies deflated the tires on his Ford Mustang.
According to a news release from the Kentucky State Police, officers received a call late Saturday night that Campbell County, Tenn., deputies were pursuing a vehicle north on Interstate 75.
Once in Kentucky, Williamsburg police and state troopers took up the chase, which exceeded 100 mph.
The driver hit a Williamsburg police cruiser before he was finally stopped near the intersection of U.S. 25 and Route 90.
Fifty-three-year-old Marrien Prince struggled with officers before being taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
Prince is charged with resisting arrest, speeding and other traffic violations.
