KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - One man is expected to OK after a wreck Friday morning on I-40 in Knoxville. It happened around 3:45am just west of the Weisgarber Rd. exit.
Authorities say the car's driver lost control, hit the guard rail and flipped.
He was the only person in the car and was walking around with no visible injuries when police arrived.
He was taken to U.T. Medical Center as a precaution.
Police say they do not believe alcohol was a factor and no other cars were involved.
The wreck caused all but one lane to be shut down in that area for about half an hour while crews worked to clear the wreckage.
