Manning's foundation helps needy families pay for gas

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Representatives from Peyton Manning's "Peyback Foundation" will drop by Beaumont Fine Arts and Honors Magnet Academy on Monday to give Pilot gift cards to several Knox Co. Schools.

The foundation is expected to hand out more than $15,000 worth of gift cards to staff members from Beaumont Fine Arts and Honors Magnet Academy; Belle Morris; Christenberry; Dogwood; Green Magnet Math and Science Academy; Inskip; Lonsdale; Maynard; Norwood; Pond Gap; Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Technology Academy; Spring Hill; South Knoxville and West View.

The schools will then distribute the gift cards before winter break.

Over the past five years, the foundation has given more than $90,000 to Knox Co. Schools.
