KNOXVILLE, Tn (WVLT) -- The body of 20 year-old Knoxville man was found Thursday morning, a day after he crashed his Ford Explorer on Thorngrove Pike, according to the Knox Co. Sheriff's Office.
A family friend found Zachery Reagan's body in a thicket around 150 feet from Reagan's wrecked SUV just before 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Investigators think he was thrown from Explorer after it went off the road in the 7900 block of Thorngrove Pike, about a half-mile from his home around 9:30 p.m. The SUV continued to roll and eventually landed on its top.
Search teams were on the scene until around 3:00 a.m. Thursday morning, looking for Reagan's body, officials said. Rural/Metro also used its hand-held Infrared camera.
Officers said speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
