ROCKY TOP, Tenn. (WVLT) - The wreck that caused traffic to back up for miles on I-75 Wednesday had cars at a standstill in many places, including Rocky Top.
To help drivers, McDonald's workers in Rocky Top filled up hundreds of cups of water and walked up and down the road handing them out to drivers.
You had kids in the car, adults in the cars - everybody was like, 'thank you! thank you so much, I appreciate this - it helps out!', so we just did the best we could," said manager Cindy Foster.
People in town tell me another man was passing out water bottles from a shopping cart and Covenant Life Church.
