KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A limited number of free tickets will be available at noon on Friday, August 22 for Medal of Honor Knoxville Convention public events through the convention website www.mohknoxville.com.
Ticketed events include the Knoxville Welcomes Our Nation’s Greatest Heroes Concert and autograph sessions.
The concert is September 11 from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Tennessee Theatre and will feature performances from The Charlie Daniels Band and the Air National Guard Band of the South.
The autograph sessions are September 12 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Knoxville Downtown World’s Fair Park, Grand Pavilion Ballroom.
There will be four autograph sessions each lasting 25 minutes. Those interested in attending may reserve two tickets per session.
In addition to ticketed events, two Town Hall Forums will take place September 12 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. Forums will be hosted at the University of Tennessee, Cox Auditorium at the Alumni Memorial Hall and Y-12 National Security Complex New Hope Center.
Audience members will have the opportunity to ask the Medal of Honor recipients questions.
Seating is limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis and doors open at 9:30 a.m.
