OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A strong local economy means strong community support, and cash mobs around the area aim to strengthen that bond.

The latest cash mob was in Oak Ridge, where the Young Professionals of Oak Ridge got the word out about "the Epicurean."

The Tennessee Avenue business has been around for more than 50 years. But they can always use any help they can get while helping to keep others healthy.

Employees tell us that the Epicurean is a unique spot to stock up on fine foods, locally ground coffee and vitamins.

"We just have odd things, different things that people don't normally see. That they just can't find just anywhere," said Teresa Helveston, an employee.

They saw a pretty good spike in business today, maybe as much as 40%.

The Young Professionals of Oak Ridge say past cash mob recipients have seen plenty of repeat business.
