The owner of a Morgan County pet crematory has been fined for the removal of pet carcasses from the company's property.
State officials fined Cameo Farr, owner of Elliot Pet Services, $10,000 and ordered Farr to fix her incinerator. However, charges have not been filed.
The state began investigating the company in September and later found several animals buried on the property.
Some believe they were improperly cremated.
Farr maintains she has done nothing wrong.
