Morristown dog rescued from drain pipe after two days

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Hamblen County dog is doing well after a tough ordeal over the past two days.

Cierra, a 15-year-old dog, went missing a couple of days and fell into a drain pipe. Her owners were apparently out of town at the time.

Two Hamblen County deputies went out and with the help of neighbors and some big machinery they were able to free the dog.

Cierra is apparently doing well, considering its age and how long it had been stuck in the pipe.
