Why do we spend more on Mother's Day than Father's Day?

(WVLT) -- On Average, we will spend $120 on dear ole Dad for Father's Day.

But we spent more on Mom for her day, over $160.

It's a spending gap of over 40%

So what’s the deal with Dad?
