Motorcycle safety featured in Pigeon Forge

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Pigeon Forge Police department is planning a safety day this weekend to help riders learn about the dangers on the road.

The police department's Street Knights Motor Unit will be at the Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson in Pigeon Forge from Noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday to talk about motorcycle safety. The Knights will answer questions about laws and inform the public about general motorcycle safety.

There will be a give away for a free certified DOT helmet from the dealership.
